****Has just moved from San Francisco, California. Can speak fluent conversational Swedish, but can explain things best in English.***** I currently work at the International English School in Täby, Sweden. I am in Special Education at the senior school (years 7 - 9) and work at the junior club at the junior school (years 4 - 5). I have recently been become the main contact for the special education department's support for the math department. For the past 16 months before I moved, I worked at Mathnasium of Mountain View - Los Altos in California as Assistant Center Director and Lead Instructor. I have taken a tutoring certification class at Chapman University. I have been a private math tutor since High School. I believe that schools are not adequately equipped to fully address all learning styles of students learning math, and that private tutoring can provide valuable insight into the learning process of a child that schools are just not able to give. I want to make a difference in the educational experience of children, and this is my way of making that difference. I have been very successful in my goals for the kids I worked with in California and would like to continue my positive influence in Sweden!

Hobbies
I grew up swimming and sailing. I love being around water and value being outside. I am enthusiastic and friendly, as making new friends is a big part of my life. I am coming from a house in San Francisco where I lived and worked as a social director with/for 70 housemates. I enjoy getting to know others and helping them in any ways I can.
